Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Scan Kit application (“App”) developed by Qilong (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

2. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all documents and content you scan using the App. We do not access, collect, or store your scanned content. You are solely responsible for the content you scan and any use you make of it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

Scan or reproduce content you do not have the right to copy.
Engage in any unlawful activity or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
Circumvent any security or access controls within the App.

4. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and branding, is the intellectual property of Qilong. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, trade names, or other intellectual property beyond the licence described in Section 1.

5. No Warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Qilong shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Changes to the App and These Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms — the updated version will be indicated by a revised “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
